Support Your DHEA

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA is a hormone made in the adrenal glands of both men and women. It is converted into hormones, including testosterone and estrogen, in the body.

DHEA levels are highest during puberty and start to decrease as people get older, with much lower levels by age 70 or 80.

Lower DHEA levels are linked to many age-related conditions, like weak muscles, bone loss, heart disease, memory problems, depression, and sexual issues.

Supplements of DHEA and certain herbs, such as ashwagandha and Korean ginseng, have been shown to help increase DHEA and related hormone levels.
