Part 4 Low Albumin Leads to Increased Aging

Albumin, a key protein produced by the liver, is essential for liver function, inflammation control, and maintaining nutritional status.

Low albumin levels indicate physiological stress and are linked to conditions like malnutrition, muscle loss, cirrhosis, and increased mortality. Hypoalbuminemia is associated with cognitive decline and dementia, as it impairs the brain's ability to clear harmful proteins like beta-amyloid.

Albumin levels also reflect biological age, with lower levels indicating accelerated aging and higher risks of chronic diseases. Maintaining healthy albumin levels is crucial for promoting longevity and overall health.
