Antioxidants Protect Your Adrenals

Oxidative stress linked to adrenal hormone imbalance can significantly impact health.

Endocrine dysregulation in adrenal glands, such as adrenal insufficiency and Cushing's syndrome, is associated with oxidative stress.

Oxidative stress damages lipids, proteins, and DNA, turns on inflammatory pathways, and causes cellular dysfunction, tissue damage, and organ impairment. Oxidative stress is linked to Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, cancer, and cardiovascular disease.

Nutritional antioxidants like vitamin C, E, carotenoids, selenium, zinc, polyphenols, coenzyme Q10, and probiotics can mitigate oxidative damage and support adrenal function.

These antioxidants may provide therapeutic approaches to managing oxidative stress related to adrenal hormone disorders.
